The whole entire month of Dec is a horribly busy month!

I didnt had time to do anything else but work! And i camp in office till late night. Sigh...

Had our usual Candlelight service! The one week that i didnt had to come back to office over the weekend!!

If i were to choose my fav service of the year, Candlelight is definitely the choice! I just simply love the way from a whole hall of pitch darkness to a whole hall filled with lights! It awesomely beautiful !

See how beautiful the hall is ! And i always in awe of the nicely lit up hall! How beautiful God's Creations are!!!

Worship = EncounterS

Yesterday I went for the worship night with Sun at Jurong! I thank God i went. Though i was held up at work and the thought of not going was tempting.

Nevertheless, i went.

We started with worship by Alison followed by Praise by Bro. Poh.

When Sun came and took over, the Presence of God was so strong that i started to weep. And it seems like i have lost this feeling for so long. And i was so comforted in the Presence of God.

And in the mist of worship, i believe when we worship, we ought to have encounters. And indeed, God did not fail me, i really had an encounter.

God reminded me that this whole time, i tried so hard to love Him yet i forgotten that we need to let Him love us back. I was there like Martha, working hard, serving Him. But i totally did not realize that God was there trying to love me, yet i could do was to work and serve and work and serve.

And when Pastor shared on the verse

1Jn 4:19
We love because He first loved us.

Yes! That was it! And i finally allowed God to move! And bam! The Presence was just overflowing on the inside of me. My spiritual love tank was filled all over again.

And right after Pst shared the word, God gave another word.

This whole time, i wanting to have a breakthough. And i tried so hard, working my breakthough out. And it just doesnt seems to happen. With good attitude and holding to the belief that Delay is not Denial.

But never did i thought, i was leaning on my own strength so much, God didnt had chance to do the work He ought to, and the Holy Spirit is a gentleman, He doesnt force, hence, leaving me all alone fighting till i feel so tired.

And God revealed to me, He is the one who will deliver me and give my breakthrough. And i ought to trust in Him.
It seems like a wake up call! And i was blown away, God then reminded me the ABCs of Christian life.

Confess

I was lost for words, but the good thing about God is after chiding you, He will always pour so much more love into us. And yes, after that, i felt so much closer to God!

I am really thankful i turn up for the meeting and had that Encounter with God!

A man came home from work late, tired and irritated, to find his 5-year old son waiting for him at the door.

SON: 'Daddy, may I ask you a question?'

DAD: 'Yeah sure, what it is?' replied the man.

SON: 'Daddy, how much do you make an hour?'

DAD: 'That's none of your business. Why do you ask such a thing?' the man said angrily.

SON: 'I just want to know. Please tell me, how much do you make an hour?'

DAD: 'If you must know, I make $50 an hour.'

SON: 'Oh,' the little boy replied, with his head down.

SON: 'Daddy, may I please borrow $25?'

The father was furious, 'If the only reason you asked that is so you can borrow some money to buy a silly toy or some other nonsense, then you march yourself straight to your room and go to bed. Think about why you are being so selfish. I don't work hard everyday for such childish frivolities.'

The little boy quietly went to his room and shut the door.

The man sat down and started to get even angrier about the little boy's questions. How dare he ask such questions only to get some money?

After about an hour or so, the man had calmed down , and started to think:
Maybe there was something he really needed to buy with that $25.00 and he really didn't ask for money very often The man went to the door of the little boy's room and opened the door.

'Are you asleep, son?' He asked.

'No daddy, I'm awake,' replied the boy.

'I've been thinking, maybe I was too hard on you earlier' said the man. 'It's been a long day and I took out my aggravation on you. Here's the $25 you asked for.'

The little boy sat straight up, smiling. 'Oh, thank you daddy!' he yelled. Then, reaching under his pillow he pulled out some crumpled up bills.
The man saw that the boy already had money, started to get angry again.
The little boy slowly counted out his money, and then looked up at his father.
'Why do you want more money if you already have some?' the father grumbled.

'Because I didn't have enough, but now I do,' the little boy replied.
'Daddy, I have $50 now. Can I buy an hour of your time? Please come home early tomorrow. I would like to have dinner with you.'
The father was crushed. He put his arms around his little son, and he begged for his forgiveness.

It's just a short reminder to all of you working so hard in life. We should not let time slip through our fingers without having spent some time with those who really matter to us, those close to our hearts. Do remember to share that $50 worth of your time with someone you love.
If we die tomorrow, the company that we are working for could easily replace us in a matter of hours. But the family & friends we leave behind will feel the loss for the rest of their lives.

Recently, my house have a new additional member!

Back from Taiwan!

Hmmm.. It was nothing to wow at cos it was RAINING EVERY SINGLE DAY!

But i had the chance to at least go around and shop for a few things only. Yes, i change more money than Clara Tay yet she got more things than me! And i cant believe it!!!! Sigh

This time was slightly exciting cos both of us (first time) travelling alone or at least taking plane on our own. Though its only a very short journey but yet, it was a great experience.

And can you imagine, Wufenpu is one of the must go place YET! YET! I did not get to go!! All thanks to the rain!!!!! Blehhhh

At Taipei itself, on the last night, we saw something interesting, one of the shop in Ximending, wire actually short circuit and was on the verge of exploding. Everyone in the vicinity was running away and people around was taking photos and posting at twitter and FB. It was indeed an interesting sight!

I was just reading my Bible, and i felt that i serve a God who is so loving. Just reading 2 chapters was enough to show His loving tenderness.

Gen 3
When Adam and Eve ate of the forbidden fruit, despite the instruction that God gave saying they will die if they partake of the fruit. But when they partake and hide from God, not only did God did not kill them but yet created clothes for them to wear and took care of them.

In Gen 5
When Cain killed Abel, and God questioned him, instead of feeling remorseful, he turn around and challenge God to kill him.
Not only did God not kill him, but put a special mark on him, so that people cannot find him and kill him.

How loving our Heavenly God is! I was truely amazed at the way God loves His creation and His people.

Ya, its just ranting

Work, ministry, friendship and many many more. So much to pay attention and take note. So many times go the extra mile, but what for going the extra miles when you're not being appreciated, what for doing so much and end up being taken advantage.

Sometimes its for the sake of being responsible. Other times is to serve and out of pure love. but why people must take a person's for granted, why do we even take people's kindness for granted.

No words to describe the joy and excitement in me!

When i first converted to be a Christian, i always wanted to go through this 'ritual'.

This is none other then going through the water baptism! It was a once-in-a-life-time moment!

And Yes! Finally, i am water baptized! I was real excited, dressed in white and standing at the roof top. HAHA!

Just before going into the pool!! Hehe

I haven upload the rest, shall do so some other time.

But i am indeed thankful that i finally made it!!

Thanks to all those who congratulated me and were there for me! Esp my CG members who went down all the way for that short 30 mins event!

She jumped up as soon as she saw the surgeon come out of the operating room. She said: "How is my little

boy? Is he going to be all right ? When can I see him? "The surgeon said, "I'm sorry. We did all we

could, but your boy didn't make it." Sally said,"Why do little children get cancer? Doesn't God care any

more? Where were you, God, when my son needed you? "The surgeon asked, "Would you like some time

alone with yourson ? One of the nurses will be out in a few minutes, before he's transported to the university.

"Sally asked the nurse to stay with her while she said goodbye to her son. She ran her fingers lovingly through

his thick red curly hair. "Would you like a lock of his hair ?" the nurse asked. Sally nodded yes. The nurse cut

a lock of the boy's hair,put it in a plastic bag and handed it to Sally. The mother said, "It was Jimmy's idea to

donate his body to the University for Study. He said it might help somebody else. "I said no at first, but

Jimmy said, 'Mom, I won't be using it after I die. Maybe it will help some other little boy spend one more

day with his Mom." She went on, "My Jimmy had a heart of gold. Always thinking of someone else. Always

wanting to help others if he could." Sally walked out of Children's Mercy Hospital for the last time, after

spending most of the last six months there.She put the bag with Jimmy's belongings on the seat beside her in

the car. The drive home was difficult. It was even harder to enter the empty house. She carried Jimmy's

belongings, and the plastic bag with the lock of his hair to her son's room. She started placing the model cars

and other personal things back in his room exactly where he had always kept them. She laid down across

his bed and, hugging his pillow, cried herself to sleep. It was around midnight when Sally awoke. Laying

beside her on the bed was a folded letter. The letter said:"Dear Mom, I know you're going to miss me; but

don't think that Iwill ever forget you, or stop loving you, just 'cause I'm not around to say "I Love You" . I

will always love you, Mom, even more with each day. Someday we will see each other again. Until then, if

you want to adopt a little boy so you won't be so lonely,that's okay with me. He can have my room and old

stuff to play with. But, if you decide to get a girl instead, she probably wouldn't like the same things us boys

do. You'll have to buy her dolls and stuff girls like, you know. Don't be sad thinking about me.This really is a

neat place. Grandma and Grandpa met me as soon as I got here and showed me around some, but it will

Jesus doesn't look like any of his pictures. Yet, when I saw Him, I knew it was Him. Jesus himself took me

to see GOD ! And guess what, Mom ? I got to sit on God's knee and talk to Him, like I was somebody

important.That's when I told Him that I wanted to write you a letter, to tell you good bye and everything. But

I already knew that wasn't allowed. Well, you know what Mom ? God handed me some paper and His own

personal pen to write you this letter.I think Gabriel is the name of the angel who is going to drop this letter off

to you. God said for me to give you the answer to oneof the questions you asked Him 'Where was He when

I needed him ?'"God said He was in the same place with me, as when His son Jesus was on the cross. He

was right there, as He always is with all His children. Oh, by the way, Mom, no one else can see what I've

written except you. To everyone else this is just a blank piece of paper. Isn't that cool ? I have to give God

His pen back now. He needs it to write some more names in the Book of Life. Tonight I get to sit at the table

with Jesus for supper. I'm sure the food will be great.Oh, I almost forgot to tell you. I don't hurt anymore.

The cancer is all gone. I'm glad because I couldn't stand that pain anymore and God couldn't stand to see me

hurt so much, either. That's when He sent The Angel of Mercy to come get me. The Angel said I was a

This song has been playing in my mind the whole morning.

I was just dwelling in the thoughts that i got so much to do and so much to complete, everyday seems like a warzone, trying to get things done and with the shift to Suntec and with the countless meetings. The day just doest seems to start right/

But as i continue to recall the lyrics of this song, it simply reminded me of how Blessed are we to be able to serve God in the small ways as compared to what He has given us. And the moment i think of this song and this thought, i cant be helped but humbled at what God has done for us.

With it, numerous hall shift, Asia conferences, Celebrities concert, cultural mandate and many chair counting days. Those were the days where many friendships were forged! Many breakthroughs and many life changing moments! Not forgetting the trials that we are still going through!!

BUT we are finally moving forward!! SUNTEC!! HERE WE COME!!!

Alright, ask me if im very happy about it, honestly, i dislike the crowd. BUT i want to flow with the vision of CHC! And yes! Im excited! A brand new place, a brand new beginning!!

Went to Malaysia for 2 day 1 night! Phew! Real short getaway amongst the hectic life!! (Ya, 2011, 1st month is already a ~~sky-high work load~~ challenging one for me)

Went with Yy's family. It was more of just another place to visit and do NOTHING, yes, hear me right, DO NOTHING. No TV, no nothing, all they had was MAHJONG!! I am not a fan for mahjong, while Yy is a great fan of mahjong, he played the whole time!! Yes, from day to night. Literally! While i had nothing much, so i could just sleep and slack!

This post is dedicated to my awesome'est' group of friends! The usual gang that i hang out with. And do stupid things together.

Agnes, Aaron, Tze, Sean, Aud and recently, added Joyce. (Needs to get that XX to join us more often man!!)

Anyway, i was just talking to Aud and i realise, we actually like things that a normal girl will like, and we click. And she is just good at talking also!

This group of friends have been together for 2 good years. This will mark the 3rd year of our close friendships! And i really heart all of them!!

We often argued over ministry and had a fair share of pek chek'ness' with each other, black face and etc.. But we also had our fair share of fun and laughters!! No man is perfect.

I am glad that we been through so much together and is still going through even more! Alright, we dont really have alot of group pics....

2011! A brand new year!

We had our group outing at the start, a good way to motivate our people! Especially when we are moving into Suntec in the next 50 over days!

We had great fun! Getting to fellowship around, and knowing our Chief more, namely 85. Shared with us some areas and allowed us to powder.
And not forgetting, we celebrated 85's birthday! I hope he likes it! :D

On top of that, we get to see Roger who was away for ages! haha!

The outing ended with a blast!

And the hardwork by the committee! I am impressed by them!!

Mich, Bel. See Wan, Hengyi, Fabian. They are an awesome group! Went all the way out to help to get things done. Handle all kinds of hiccups within a short period of time. And also, able to adapt to lots of last min informations and requests from me.

They were the ones who allowed the event to happen successfully! Kudos to them!!

and for a moment, i felt i lost the art of writing! This is horrible!!

2010 has ended and 2011 is here!

It has been a busy period for all of us in CHC with the many trials and tribulations. And the many shiftings that we are expecting.

It was not only busy, but certainly not easy at all!! But it is through such times, we build close friendships and STRONG ones. We found people of 1 heart, 1 mind and 1 soul. Rare chance!

I wanna thank God for placing many great people in my life. (Though this comes a little late) but better than nothing!

UM appreciation Night 2010

It was an awesome night! All the leaders of the ministry coming together to appreciate one another's hard work!

It was 5 years ago since we had the last appreciation (According to Francis). Thinking back, 5 years ago, i was jus a newbie in the ministry. (This tells you how long i have been in the ministry. hahah)

I vividly remember my training days and when i started out as a usher. I can even remember who recruited me to the ministry.

5 years have passed, today, standing ~~typing~~ here, is a TL of the ministry. And i am glad i was given this opportunity to serve God and His people. There were many trying moments, disappointments and even heartaches. But there were even more joy, love and fun, seeing how our ushers grow from 1 level to another! From a usher to great leaders of the church!

Pst D came and fellowship with all the leaders, not forgetting all the performances put up by the various groups! I tell you, thank God we are in usher ministry! And i guess that is also the reason why we aren't in any other ministry!! haha! We all ~~cant~~ can sing, dance and act! But we all tried our best! It was simply cool!

Pst D share a word of appreciation and encouragement to all of us and he brought along a video recorded by Pst Kong and Sun. Thanks for the words, Pst!

The night was really awesome!

I really thank God i was placed in this awesome ministry, this big family! I can only say, UM the best! And i love UM!! Lets go to 2011 with a blast! Suntec!! Here we come!!!

Candlelight 2010

After 11 months of waiting, the candlelight service is once again here!

It is one of my fav service through the years! Cos everytime i see the candles slowly being lit and from a single flame to a hall of 5k candles lit. It was an awesome sight! And its a sight that never fails to warm my heart.

This year was a little different for me, i was doing duty as an ACU alpha. It was a whole new realm for me. My first time, doing in such a 'huge' service in my opinion.

A nice duty would have ended if not for something happened.

Anyway, i guess the only thing that touches my heart was when i see so many people responding to the alter call. Children as young as 3 years old and even our very own celebrities' relative!

Tears almost fall as i saw the alter being filled with hundreds of people.

21st Birthday

2010 is ending in 10 days time!

It seems like just last week we were counting down, ending year 2009, now, with a wink of an eye, its counting down of 2010. Its real fast, indeed time awaits no one.

And i ~~refused to~~ cant believe that i am turning 21 in 2 days time! Honestly, i dont want to grow up! hahah! Sounds wrong, rather, i dont want to age! haha! I want to forever be youthful and young and yet fun!!

I dont have a 21st birthday party, few reasons, but one of the reason i felt so was, i dont celebrate my birthday for so many years, because of the christmas service and all, so i dont see the need to have it one.

After waiting for 2 ~~years~~ months, D Day finally arrived!! 3Dec!! The long bus journey, the cold wind and the huge mountain of knowledge! HERE WE COME, CAMERON HIGHLAND!

We met at 830pm (Supposedly) 9pm for dinner on the Friday night. It was a time of awesome fun! Partly because we celebrated that Sean Cheng Birthday!

Finally, 10pm arrived! On board and off we go!!

It was a long journey with a few pit stops! The moment we got down at the 1st stop, and the first thing we all did was to ~~find food~~ go toilet! And then the next thing we saw was to rush ~~to dapao food~~ up the bus!

And The journey continues.......

At the following morning, 8am, finally, we felt the COLD wind. We arrived! It was indeed COLD. But shiok!! I love cold wind!!

We had a short briefing and signed up some tours just before we went to check in to our hotel. The hotel was a good deal! All thanks to Agnes who went to do most of the research, this hotel allows us to accomodate 5 people in a room and provides us a Steamboat dinner and a breakfast.

Off we went to our first stop! Boh Tea Plantation!

It was said to be the green carpet of the highland. (Look at the pic and you will understand). They also had different machines used to 'do' tea leaves.

After the tea plantation, we went back to our hotel for lunch plus some ~~sleep~~ wash up. The lunch was a good spread man!!

This was for 5 person ONLY! We were amazed by the serving! Thank God for people like Sean and XX who manage to help to finish off everything on the table!!

After lunch, we head off to do the MUST DO in Cameron!! Was to pluck STRAWBERRIES!!

After plucking the Strawberries, we went to a nearby water cress farm, or rather, it was jus a plot of water cress. Pretty interesting to see water cress growing by the road. And i cant believe that i actually like drinking those boiled soup with water cress.

Next stop was the catcus farm and chrysanthemum farm!! We see all kinds of flowers, in different shapes and sizes, with big needle to tiny weeny ones.

Of cos, me being lazy, so i allow the pics to talk rather then i ~~talk~~ type.

No pics for dinner, as all are ~~desperately in need of food~~ hungry. So none is available.

Anyway, its fun!! I enjoyed the most is the bus journey!! We get to see the other side of us! I love my awesome travelling Kakis!!

i came to realise that trust is the easiest to be given, but once broken, its the hardest to be fix back.

And it just happened to me. Not that people dont trust me, but i began to not want to trust people, cos they had not make good their words.

On the other hand, its also respect that was being lose. Why am i the one always being told off, yet when you commit the same mistake, you are being let off?

Is it just because you got with someone who is close to some big shots and you stand to gain? Or because you over familiarize with the big shot.

I hate it when people accept reasons just because you are friends, what about those who are not as close to you. what about those who dont know you. So they stand to lose? And they will be the one who have to silently suffer.

And i wonder, why am i always the one being told off. Is it because i am the easiest prey? Or is it that i dont have enough big shots to cover me. I dont know. But i feel for the people and i dont like to be in that position.

Seeing people who commits mistake you commit yet was got off Scott free.

Indeed, when i tell people that life is unfair, its indeed unfair to me. It makes me think twice of doing things for you and it makes me think three times to trust you.

Now i need to rant it off, to ensure i dont explode at the next episode.

They trust God to come as they worship, all they could do was 'just believe'.

Had an awesome CG meeting last week! Jerb is back with us! Last week was to me a busy week, a tiring one. I had rush in and out, insufficient rest and yes, lack of sleep!

Anyway, Jerb had an awesome word for us ( at least in my opinion )

She shared about this thing, so simple yet so hard to achieve. The simplicity of JOY.

Its such a simple word, JOY simpler term means happiness.

But yet many people cant achieve this joy in them. And we all wonder.

Joy is actually very simple, all you need is 3 things.

1) J - Jesus

You need Jesus to fill you and be in you!

2) O - Others

Sometimes, serving people can also brings warmth to you. And often we lack this. Thinking that when we serve people, we are treated like a servant.

3) Y - Yourself

Being yourself can also bring joy to yourself. You dont need to put a front, having a mask in front of you. And pretenting to be happy. IT doesnt work this way.

I was so wowed by this word. Honestly, as we all grow, we tend to forgo things that may be the most precious to us when we were younger. We may replaced it with something else. And we forgotten that we need to have this joy to keep life going.

Was clearing my thumb and found a few, in fact is ALOT of pictures that EG used to have! hahah!
It was the good old time indeed! The time where we really enjoy fellowship. When life is not that task oriented and all about yourself. It was a good time hanging out with them. I always remember it was these people also that make me realise that how fun ministry life can be. And we were all for that 1 common goal.

I really missed those good old time. And i wish time could turn back. But i know it will be kinda tough.

MDAS Eco Challenge

Last Saturday was one eventful day for me...

Staff from my school are to go down and do CIP work. The last time i did CIP was probably 5years ago???

And yes! We need to do and clock CIP hours. What an exciting thing to do! haha

Anyway, we work together with Muscular Dystrophy Association Singapore to hold this Eco Challenge event together. With it, Hwa Chong, River Valley High and St Nicholas was also involved.

Just a background of the Disease The word dystrophy comes from Latin and Greek roots meaning "faulty nutrition." When doctors first began describing muscle diseases in the 19th century, they had few tools other than their own eyes. Muscles in many diseases appeared to be wasting away, and the doctors theorized that they somehow weren't being properly nourished. The term muscular dystrophy refers to a group of genetic diseases marked by progressive weakness and degeneration of the skeletal, or voluntary, muscles, which control movement. The muscles of the heart and some other involuntary muscles are also affected in some forms of muscular dystrophy, and a few forms involve other organs as well.

How was the event like? It was to bring the MD members around Singapore playing simple station games, traveling on MRT. Because MD members dont often get to travel around by public transport because of the wheelchair and also they may have difficulties tapping the cards. For that, they had to travel with various means.

Thank God, i was a station master. (Sounds like some zone event to me. ) We were at SMU waiting and waited before the first team arrives. It was only a short 1 hr with all teams.

Anyway, when i was with them, i find them so optimistic! I mean they did not bow down to their disabilities, but they kept on going! Above all, i am really thankful that i can walk, can run, can do anything i want. And living a life of fun. But the MD members are not so lucky, they cant lead a normal life and on top of that, they need to be taken care by someone for the rest of their life.
I saw 2 children, aged about 8-10 years old sitting on wheelchair. I really feel for them. While people of their age, running around, playing hide and seek. They had to be wheeled around for the basic needs. I had no words to describe the kind of heartache i feel for them. But all i could do was to say a simple prayer, asking God to take care and protect them for the rest of their lives.

This event not only allow me to interact with the people, but taught me how to be thankful, how to live life and not take things for granted. And i am indeed thankful!

Its a sudden sense of sianzness gotten over me. I dont know what i am sianz with. (or perhaps i know) haha..

anyway, i was just smsing someone and feeling like why (for some reason) they just dont follow, and can i dont bother about what kind of words i want to use, just shoot!

But as i was typing the sms, i cant help but to ask in a nice way. Then to realise, its all about 人际关系。And sometimes, its really pretty sianz, thinking how to phrase your words to make people think that you are not using your authority or overstepping your boundaries.

Sometimes, just because we will face conflicts with people and for that, we need to package our words and our action so as to not let other tongues wag. It can honestly be quite tiring.

Sighhh... Anyway, here am i just having some 'diarrhea'

Friends Vs REAL friends

Sometimes, i just simply cannot figure out, why people want to make use of one another with the relationship they share. How sad is this?

I remember someone once came to me and ask me, what kind of friend will that person be if he/she just want to receive and not give.

I also dont know. And i also would like to have an answer. What kind will this person be?

Friendship in my opinion is about love, serving one another and just accepting that person for who he/she is. Simply being interested about you as a friend.

Indeed, you can give without loving, but you cannot love without giving.

And i felt like as though i know of such a person. Who only wants to receive from me and not give. And i felt so being used, espcially when its someone who's so near to you. Sighhhhh....

But on a lighter note, i still thank God for great friends who stood by me in times of need and being there for me. (You guys know who you are)

FOP + Anniversary

FOP and Anniversary is finally OVER!! It was 3 full tiring DAYS! PHew!

But i really enjoyed duty, service and all!

It was my FIRST time taking + doing zones in SIS. Cant believe it, all my life in ushering, i only serve EXTERNAL TRAFFIC!!

Anyway, i seriously Thank God that my duty turns out WELL! And it was good! PTL!

CHC anniversary! CHC is now an ADULT! hahah! She has turned 21 years old! PK had an awesome message on Faith, Hope and Love! Indeed the greatest of all is LOVE. We can walk this 21 years is because we all had LOVe for one another.

Primary school days

As i was walking up to look for a teacher, i passed my many classes and saw students having lessons, (normal scenes though) but i had a sudden craving to go back to primary school.

During my time, CCA was called as ECA. So we can choose to have one. Its a bonus to have. And back then i get to attend morning and afternoon sessions. Unlike now, ECA have become COMPULSORY and now its all morning session. Good and bad, but its different as compared to the past.

I always remember that when i was studying, the subject i love most was CHINESE!! (Yes, your eyes are not playing tricks) i love chinese, and i score pretty well for my Chinese. And i simply enjoy it. (Though i return most of it to my teachers already, opps!!)

Now students love most are Math and English. Chinese is just another subject.

Sigh.. How i wish i can go back to schooling days. Nothing to worry, all you need to remember is when is your exams and remember to do homework. Thats it! How ~~stress~~ relax can life be during school days. hahahaha..

I want to go back to primary school!! (Perhaps that explains why i am working in a primary school???) hahahaha

This week is an awesome week! I manage to go home early every single day. (At least before 10pm!) And i had the chance to do my QT early!! So that i can sleep early! Haha!

Yes! I love it! When i simply started worhipping God, His presence was just so tangible! The Holy Spirit was like so near and close to me! I cried so much and just terry in His Presence. Man.. You seriously dont need to pray about anything, just worship. Thats enough!

I love such QT! I love His Presence! I love God!

As i was reading the Bible, getting a verse to encourage someone, i realize that what CHC is going through is very much what the Bible has describe.

In 2Cor 4:8-11
We are hard-pressed on every side, yet not crushed; we are perplexed, but not in despair; persecuted, but not forsaken; struck down, but not destroyed

As a church, going through all the saga together was not an easy matter.

But like what the verse says we are hard-pressed by all the media on all side, reflecting all the negative reports about us yet we are NOT crushed. We are persecuted yet we know we are not forsaken and will not forsake our leaders as well. We are very badly struck down by the reports but we know we are not destroy!

We can stand united as one.

As i then start to flip through the Bible to read Matthew.

In this verse:

Mat 6:1-4

Take heed that you do not do your charitable deeds before men, to be seen by them. Otherwise you have no reward from your Father in heaven. Therefore, when you do a charitable deed, do not sound a trumpet before you as the hypocrites do in the synagogues and in the streets, that they may have glory from men. Assuredly, I say to you, they have their reward. But when you do a charitable deed, do not let your left hand know what your right hand is doing, that your charitable deed may be in secret; and your Father who sees in secret will Himself reward you openly.

As a church we done many charitable deeds. many natural disasters, sending forth our medical teams and aids.

Yet not once, did we sound the trumpet getting media to come and write a full page report about it. Its all because of our church belief: Loving God wholeheartedly and loving people fervantly.

Its really the DNA of CHC.

All in all, CHC have and is still making a difference in many people's lives and the society!

Hongkong last 2 days

Day 4!

We had our Yum cha again. This time, we went to this super old restaurant for yum cha!! Man... It was really OLD!

Then after yum cha, off we go to causeway bay, times square. But we were too early. Did what we always like to do. GO starbucks and chill!! Love the fellowship. Sit down there and just talk nonsense.

We didnt really buy alot of stuff there, but it was like the Shenton way of Singapore.

Shop till we were so tired. All we want to do was to find a place to slack.

Had lunch, went to shop and dinner and then back to hotel. hahah..

We were kind of tired of shopping.

So anyway, we had roasted pigeon for the night supper. It was like duck? haha..

Ya. Fellowship, playing sabouteur till 1am before heading back and sleep!!

Day 5!

Last day in Hongkong!!

We went to their shop and save! Hongkong is so environment friendly! When you buy things there, they dont provide you plastic bags. It was crazy! haha!!

Yes, after shop and save we went for brunch and somemore shopping before heading back to hotel for last packup and off to the airport!

We took the night flight. So by the time we all reached Singapore, it was 1am in the morning! Yawns!!

Haha! Overall, i love my travelling companions! The usual ones!! you guys make the trip fun and awesome! Though a little hippcups here and there, but it was just so fun! hahah! I love my awesome gang of friends!

Hongkong Day 2 & 3

Day 2!

How can we not try the lifestyle of the Hongkonger when we are therE?!?!

So we all took the effort to wake up early and went for the yum cha.

Man! The people are EARLY! The restaurant was pack with people at 9am! And are the ah gong and ah mas! haha!!

Went to one of the restaurant for the yum cha, and according to XX, we ordered 31 baskets of Tim Sum! And its not enough!! Lost count of how many after the 1st round.

I love the tim sum there! Somehow, you just feel that you dont have enough of it!

Proceed to take the ferry to Hongkong island!!

The ferry was a very old ferry and it was very shaky!! haha

We went to Central, the orchard road of Hongkong. There is one nice place.

And it was there, XX make a fool out of himself!! hahha!!!

Walking halfway, sean did a stunt.

Sean: XX where are we now?
XX confidently pointed at the map and said: "somewhere here"

Sean: Then what about this??

HAHA!! It was the classic joke of the day!!

We continued to shop and went to eat the world best Wanton noodle for lunch.

Followed by a tea break. hahah! The kind of food and lifestyle that we were leading there was just so ~~unhealthy~~ awesome!!

So after some shopping at central, all decided to go to "the Peak'. It started to RAIN! How nice the weather can be!?!?!

So instead of going to peak, we all went to the avenue of Stars.

Another tourist spot.

That was a place where all the celebrities and famous people leave their hand prints and signatures.

For some unknown reasons, the guys spotted names that related to some people. And hence the picture above!!

As for the girls, i also cant remember what are we laughing at!

so after the avenue of stars. We jus decided to go somewhere to avoid the rain.

So SASA was the place. And we all got more then 25 boxes worth of masks! haha! Yes! As though Singapore doesnt have!

After shopping, we went to a restaurant nearby that serve food that suits me! haha! Light and blend food! i love it! after that, headed back to hotel for an early night!

Day 3!

We woke up pretty late cos we didnt want to be deprived of sleep during the holidays!

Didnt had breakfast, and proceeded to this AWESOME place called : City Gate!! Its where all the factory outlets are!

Yes, the 2 shops that i spend most of my time in were: Esprite and Christian Audigier!

The prices there are prices that we can hardly get it here in Singapore! Not only did i spend alot there. The others also did! They guys were even crazier! hahah...

By the time we are done at City Gate, its already early evening! so we went to this place: Shen Shui Po. The Sim Lim square of Hngkong. Didnt get much things, but it was also another very different place.

Headed back to hotel and drop all the items.

And we went for dinner!! Dinner was at a super far place!! At Sai Kung!

HongKong day 1

Finally!! Gonna blog down my trip in Hongkong. It was indeed a fun filled one!! With the gang of crazy people!! aha. (You know who you are la)

On the night before we had to fly off, i cannot believe it that Agnes, Van and me had to work till 10pm! Shifting chairs and sticking stickers. It was pure insane! Anyway, yes, we work till 10pm and the guys went over to Yeoyi's place to ton till the following morning. Reason being, our flight was at 6am in the morning. having to reach airport at 4am. So might as well.

So off we go to Hongkong!! Filled with expectancy and excitement!

No pics taken. opps. all too sleepy. hahah.. All i know was, all KO-ed on the plane.

Reached Hongkong airport at 11am. Was delayed.

Took the Airport express to Kowloon. And i find the airport express sooooo cool!!

And saw this while on the train.

HahA! Is the taxi that we always watch on the Hk Dramas!!

Anyway, we reached hotel and had some weird delays. Check in!

Went for lunch!!

Lunch was just ~~sinful~~ nice and yummy!!

We had roasted food. haha! It was sooooo different from Singapore. (Though i hardly eat in Singapore)

And after lunch, went up to rest for a little while, before we head off to our shopping spree!!

First stop was the Ladies market! The things there are so similar! But alot of things that we might not get it here.

Hmmz... Didnt really get much things first cos we wanted to walk around only.

Went for desert.

We ended AC. One problem down. Another one in our way. CHC being complaint of misusing church funds. Hmmz...

During this whole preparation of AC, many things happened. I wonder was that the work of Satan trying to get us down or was that God testing us.

Then again, this whole AC preparation, i attended 2 wakes, close to 5 close ones who passed away. And it was a test of our faith, to be involved in something so big. That satan was one that really cant see us win. We were pretty well prepared for this AC, and many things came our way. When we ended AC with a blast on Sunday night, come Monday news that we are under investigations.

It was really one after another. But i know for sure, one thing, as a church, we are being tested of our unity, in times of trouble, are we still together, or are we gonna run into another place and abandon our leaders.

I trust the leadership, the management of CHC and most of all, i trust that the members are standing by alongside with our leaders. We will not walk out on them in times like this.

We will always keep them in prayers and believing that our big break is gonna be here soon! God is fair, and just. The righteous will prevail! We gonna make it! Amen!!

AC 2010

AC 2010 has finally ended with a blast last night!!

On the first day of AC, I mean WOW! The delegates/members were so excited that they came queuing for the conference as early as 3AM!! Can you believe it!! 3AM! When all are soundly asleep, they were there queuing and waiting for doors to open.

Serving for the whole AC was jus simply phenomenon!! Meeting different kind of people, using different ways and means to get into the hall was also another 'exciting' event.

AC started since months ago for some, others weeks, the rest, on that day itself. For me, it started months with being involve with some of the planning and discussions. Knowing the plan and being on the same page as my leaders. It really let us feel that we are part of the AC!

AC was just awesome not with people serving, but also with great speakers like Dr Yonggi Cho, Dr A R Bernard, Dr Phil Pringle, DR Reinhard Bonnke and our very own Rev Kong Hee!!

They came with a word in season not just for us, but also for the delegates! This really set our hearts on fire all over again with Him!! This AC was one of the life transforming event that i ever attended.

I cant wait for AC 2012 at Suntec! Its gonna be another moment that touch many lives and impact the Asia! Looking forward to it!

The only sad thing is, i did not manage to take any pictures during the whole AC!! Arghh!! And when the whole world is taking picture, we are preparing to do shiftinG!! Back to Hall 1!

With that in mind, i cant wait for my HK Trip!!!!!! 5 more days!!!! Counting down still!!!!! Wohoo!!!

We are all counting down to one of the largest events we ever have!!

ASIA CONFERENCE 2010!

Preparing and gearing ourselves to receive a touch from Heaven! I cant wait for AC2010!

And is 6 days away!!! *cheer* *jump* *flip* * clap* *running around* *screams*!!!!

We waited, from 6 months, to 6 weeks and now finally 6days!!!! haha!! Yes, i am very excited for it!!

And having said that, its also 17 days away to my long awaited Holiday!!!!! HONGKONG!!!!!

Wohoo!! June is a power pack month man!! And i know i am so gonna have fun!!

I just cant wait for all the events to happen right now!! ahahaha

More of Him and less of me

Man!! This is one of my toughest periods in life. Esp when going through Building Fund!! Met a crisis, wanted to throw in the towel and just stop, cos for a moment i thought, God, why am i the one having to go through such?!

Felt led to read the book of Job, he went through much more then me. Yet, not for 1 moment did he want to curse God or Blame God for anything, all in all, he knows that God will never let go of him.

Felt much better after some worship and praying. And of cos reading the word.

I was reminded, sometimes we are faced with such difficult times are to remind ourselves of our faith and love for God. When all things are well and smooth, who really remember so much of God. I mean, everything is smooth, all we pray for is having a better life.

But when we encountered with things that we dont know what to do. Things that nothing we can do, then here is He to perform His part of His miracle.

God is an awesome God!

Now i truly need more of God and less of me. Indeed He increase while i need to decrease even more.

woow!! All these excludes my time of checking on my own work and dealing with my own section and cg!! ahaha!! How am i to cope?!?!!

Wow!! I cannot believe my eyes!! Oh God!! I seriously need more strength and mercy!! And grace also!! Please pour down on me!!

The past 1 month was a very llllllooooooonnnnnnggggggggg month. So long that i think i am about to have no life soon.

From monday - Thursday: Work, tuition. (Sometimes meeting). So i got to rush from tuition to meeting. Phew.

Wooww.. Sometimes i also dont know what i get my strength from. I mean i am dead tired. But i thank God for His great strength that sustained me throughout my days.

And its more then the strength, the $$$$ is also very important for my BF. Thank God i am going through it and starting to see light at the end of the tunnel! haha!

So Hongkong! I am so gonna enjoy myself there to the max!

Youth meeting

Today is the Youth meeting that many young people were looking forward to! It was really a fun time where all the youth gathers together and praise and worship God! The feeling was fantastic to see that the youth in CHC were so HOT and on fire for God! I mean, it was cool and it seems like we were tearing down expo man!! haha

Anyway, we were serving as usual, truly, once an usher, forever an usher. haha. But its who you serve with that matters.

Today, Pst Kong preached about the calling in life. And the calling to be a full time minister! Man! it was mind blowing! And Awesome! hhaah!! No other words to describe!

Spoke to HuiErl after service, something that really touches my heart alot and impacted me!
I was AMAZED! I mean, she had show me something that is so wow!!

To cut the story short, i need to thank Hui Erl for enlightening me, showing me that there is actually another path that can take! And sometimes we are so alone, we forgotten everything! So now i know!

Now, its time to sleep!! Gonna have another long day ahead! Tuition and more tuition! And also the meeting with Pst D! Wohoo!! Gonna catch something from this meeting as well!

The realness of people; leaders

Hmmz... Nat is feeling very emo recently. So much that i think i am very over sensitive! haha..

But the fact of the matter, now i understand why members say that their leaders are so fake to them, why they feel that they are being used at times. When they are needed, their leaders will treat them well. But when they seems to be at the bottom end, their leaders will not bother them.

Hmmz.. Why am i talking about this now? Because this is what i am feeling now. I feel when you are useful to the ministry, you are surely being well treated, but when you are of no use, people kicked you aside and think that you are not good. With what they see they comment. They dont even think of the contributions that you have make. Thank God i dont build my rewards on earth. But in heaven!

But the thing is, have anyone really asked? Anyone showed concern? Anyone bother? Sad to say, i dont think so. Sigh. Are people now being realistic? Or are they being real? Sigh. I also dont know, i dont hope to know. Cause the more i know, the more disappointed i will feel.

Anyway, i may be at the crossroad. But i know one thing for sure, i will not let God go. All things may fade away. All things will passed away. But God will not go.
Should there be one day i change minstry, i also dont find it unusual. Because this is why people go.

Revelation and yet frustrated

Last Week it was really an awesome week. Finally get to attend service with N450 after a long long long long time! hhaa

Anyway, it was our vision weekend and Pst shared alot of good news within the church. At the same time, i received a revelation!

As we were singing this song,

This is my desire, to honour You
Lord with all my heart I worship You
all I have within me

all that I adore is in You

I live for You alone
Every breath that I take
Every moment I'm awake
Lord have Your way in me

I was thinking, God if i give you, then can i still take back? Can i still do things my way with the items? (Heart and soul la)

Then i realized, what is given out, is already doesnt belongs to you. So when we give God our life, we cant take it back and say God, i dont want to do it anymore. I want to give up our walk. Cos our life technically no longer belongs to us but to Him.

This couple of weeks was really a test of my love for God. In the area of ministries. In the area of life and many more.

Many times i really get so fed up with things, i want to give up and say God, i dont want it anymore. Times where i really want to throw in the towel and drop all that i have. But God never gave up on me or say, Nat, i give you up. But He remains faithful while i am faithless.

Though now, i am still equally frustrated (man are not perfect!!) with the things, with the expectations and yet limited resources. In fact i am VERY, but i shall try to trust for breakthrough. With man all things are impossible. But with God, all things are Possible.

Sick and tired

I am very frustrated!! Arghh.. Having to do so much at work, church, family and etc.... I am really tired. Weary!!

People always say, why am i to be tired? when i should get the most rest, but why people make such comments? I dont quite understand.

And seriously, when people say, i want to do this. Done it! Next moment, someone else will just come and say, i dont agree. Change. Anyone spare a thought for the person who is doing all the changes? Sigh.. Sad to guess, i dont think so.

Then now, more are added. Responsibilities and workload. Can i just take a break from everything? I really do.

Someone once told me, we all ought to get some "me" time. I often want to ask. HOW? When i got so much things to do. Waking early 6 out of 7 days. Squeezing my brain cells to max!! And still expect me to squeeze even further.. I am TIRED!!

Tired of meeting people's expectations. Tired of doing things for people. Tired of rushing from time to time. Tired of saying OKAY!

But, can i say i dont want to do anymore? I dont think i can.

Nat needs and wants a break! God!! Please see me through!! ARghhh..

Just ended CNY. Hmmz... What a great way to start the lunar New Year!! By falling sick! roar!!

Friday had service, it was so awesome! HaHa!! No words to describe the service. It was fun. But serving with a bad throat and feverish was not at all fun.

went home after service. Ran a high fever! I simply cant believe myself! Woke up at 2am, 4am and 6am respectively. Phew, the temperature was wohoo.. haha!!

Fever subsided at 8am, but all my plans for the Eve of CNY was RUINED!! Sob sob! I wanted to go chinatown. But! I needed to rest and no sun for the day.

Had my reunion dinner. No appetite and plain food was all i have..

And came first and second day of CNY. Went around visiting. With all the sickness accompanying. How exciting can that be?! haha! Yea. Then MC on Wed.

So, i cant help but to believe that my 2010 is gonna be a great year! Despite falling sick so many times this month!!!!

Jar of Life

One day, an old professor of the School of Public Management in France, was invited to lecture on the topic of “Efficient Time Management” in front of a group of 15 executive managers representing the largest, most successful companies in America.

Standing in front of this group of elite managers, who were willing to write down every word that would come out of the famous professor’s mouth, the professor slowly met eyes with each manager, one by one, and finally said, “we are going to conduct an experiment”.

From under the table that stood between the professor and the listeners, the professor pulled out a big glass jar and gently placed it in front of him. Next, he pulled out from under the table a bag of stones, each the size of a tennis ball, and placed the stones one by one in the jar. He did so until there was no room to add another stone in the jar. Lifting his gaze to the managers, the professor asked, “Is the jar full?” The managers replied, “Yes”.

The professor paused for a moment, and replied, “Really?”

Once again, he reached under the table and pulled out a bag full of pebbles.

Carefully, the professor poured the pebbles in and slightly rattled the jar, allowing the pebbles to slip through the larger stones, until they settled at the bottom. Again, the professor lifted his gaze to his audience and asked, “Is the jar full?”

At this point, the managers began to understand his intentions. One replied, “apparently not!”

“Correct”, replied the old professor, now pulling out a bag of sand from under the table.

Cautiously, the professor poured the sand into the jar. The sand filled up the spaces between the stones and the pebbles.

Yet again, the professor asked, “Is the jar full?”
Without hesitation, the entire group of students replied in unison, “NO!”

“Correct”, replied the professor.

And as was expected by the students, the professor reached for the pitcher of water that was on the table, and poured water in the jar until it was absolutely full.

The professor now lifted his gaze once again and asked, “What great truth can we surmise from this experiment?”

With his thoughts on the lecture topic, one manager quickly replied, ” We learn that as full as our schedules may appear, if we only increase our effort, it is always possible to add more meetings and tasks. “

“No”, replied the professor. The great truth that we can conclude from this experiment is:

If we don’t put all the larger stones in the jar first, we will never be able to fit all of them later

The auditorium fell silent, as every manager processed the significance of the professor’s words in their entirety.

The old professor continued, “What are the large stones in your life? Spiritual life? Health? Family? Friends? Your goals? Doing what you love? Taking time for yourself?”

What we must remember is that it is most important to include the larger stones in our lives, because if we don’t do so, we are likely to miss out on life altogether. If we give priority to the smaller things in life (pebbles & sand), our lives will be filled up with less important things, leaving little or no time for the things in our lives that are most important to us. Because of this, never forget to ask yourself,

What are the Large Stones in your Life?
And once you identify them, be sure to put them first in your “Jar of Life”.

With a warm wave of his hand, the professor bid farewell to the managers, and slowly walked out of the room.

2010 Jan has been a SUPER busy and packed month. Thus explained why i am not here.

Had events like ALTC starting in the end Jan. With loads of work piling and much more to do in both ministry and cg. (then again, not alot to be done) haha.

This past 3 weeks was really a VERY Long week for me.

I have personally rested much. Working late, staying back in office, sleeping late. It is really wearying me little body down. Both mentally and physically. I do hope to get 1 day to just sleep in and that day has not yet arrived. Sigh.

Hmmz.. talk about something nicer, last week i attended the second lesson of ALTC.

ALTC was really awesome! I mean, the Presence of God was just so real and comforting, i went with heavy heart and tired mind, but God was good, to come and refresh us.
More then that, Huierl shared a word that really taught me so much. Or impact me.
Being a leader in the ministry, many times we get tired and discourage and many times we dont know who can we run to. The buisness of life do get over us many times, but we need to constantly be put into the new wineskin to ensure that we dont rely on the past revelations and old dreams and visions.

But always be in the new wineskin, new dreams, new visions and new revelation. But in order to do that, we need to learn to how to DECREASE so that God can INCREASE. Many times, we prayed prayers for God to exchange all of Him for all of us, but we dont know what to it REALLY means. In order to have all of God in exchange for all of us, we need to learn to let God totally take over our life. Full control and HUMBLE.

I was so overwhelmed. And not only by the word, but most importantly, the Presence of God. I love it to the max. He was just so comforting. Many times when we do wrong against God, we tend to run away, and during that time, God reminded me that He is always faithful when we are faithless and all sinful, He still will not give up on us. I was just so in awe.

Huierl and Beatrice went around to lay hands. Woooo.... The Presence was something i will hold on dearly to, no matter what happens, i will not let God go!

Hmmz.. Yea! Another tiring week is gone, i may be very tired still physically, but i will make it through!

I have not blogged about my Thanksgiving CG, i have not blog about my everything, simply, NO TIME! SIGH!!!

Anyway, 2010 has completed 2 weeks of its 52 weeks! haha!

This 2 weeks have been very fruitful, very busy and very tiring for me.

Work is just BUSY! No time for me to do any other things. And i feel so proud of myself cos i have been sleeping at 10pm EVERYDAY!! No later then 11pm!! So awesome! I need to keep this going! Otherwise i will always find myself so super lack of sleep!!

2009 is over in 16hrs time! haha!

A time to recap, reflect and thank God for the good and bad things! :)

This year is indeed an eventful year for me! I mean in many aspects. Even till now, i also dont know where to start.

Anyway, not to go into details of what had happened, i just wanna thank God, for all the good and bad times. Times where i felt like giving up and run away. Times that i was being lifted up. I am very very thankful for His strength to see me through and most importantly, not giving me up!!!

Richie Goh:
83, thanks for giving me opportunities upon opportunities despite me screwing up some, losing some. And of cos gaining great experience in some. Despite of all those time, you did not think bad of me, give up on me and even stop using me. But time and time again, you taught me how to think and taught me how to run the race. And being there to encourage me. I really cant thank God enough for your guidance!

Roger Lim:
Roger Lim! You have not been around for ages man! But you never stop contacting us, following up on us, and even find out the well being of us. You always ask, how's things, how's the people. And gave me ideas to improve things. Of cos, you were the one who really lifted me up many times too! Times that i am LOST, DISCOURAGE, UNWANTED, you always tell me that you are there for me, God is there for me and i know you always tell me that you love me! haha! You are really like that Father who loves the children, that leader who gave that light, and the friend who will lend a helping hand! I really very thankful for all those times!

Hmmz.. i guess this is not easy for us. I mean, we gone through alot. Thick and thin. You also gave me lots of chances. You scolded me alot of times. You encourage me and of cos being there for me. I will always remember you telling me, Having done all. Lets continue.

this year indeed has started well, and of cos, ended well. Though it was a trying period, a tough going. But nothing is impossible with Him! So i pray that 2010 will be a better year!

Had been very busy recently!! Though i also dont know what am i busy with.

Just had our Candlelight service. And also Thanksgiving in CHC.

But i just had so much things in heart. So many thoughts..

Roger has been encouraging me, 'following-up' one me during this season. So much things happened, so many times when i dont know what to do, he is always there for me!

Roger, thanks for really being there for me when i fall. You never fail to encourage me and of course, show me the way. Even in times like now, i am troubled, yet you did not give up on me! hha! You are one awesome ACU, leader and friend! I really love you to the max!!!!

I finally gave up my 'baby'. Holding on to it for the past 2 years was not something easy. In fact, i had my ups and down with it.

Had lots of frustrations, anger, disappointments, hurts but yet fulfilling times also.

As i was thinking of giving up, i thought it through. Question myself. (Had some bad thoughts too)

Why people can enjoy some 'babies' of theirs yet, many of times, i find it a godly burden. And though its not entirely mine, yet i carried as though there is no one there to hold it. Get scolded, got lots of problems with it, lots of nights burned yet no one there is hold it nor hold me too.

But when all other good things come, the rest got it, sad to say, i didnt. Had i been forgotten or being banished into the exile? haha.. Maybe both?

Now, its time for someone else to carry and see it grow. I shall take the back seat, or maybe even leave the seat for some other people to watch. I shall not touch it again. Though, its something that i cant bear to part with. But its time.

I shall move on.

Thanks to those who thought me what to do, including the scoldings, the teachings and of course the nagging. I can now finally say I have done it all!!! haah!!

KL Emerge rising!

Came back from KL Emerge!! It was so different the way they run an event!

Was there on the 19th nov night. Had supper at Kim gary. The Kim Gary there is NICE!!! And not to forget, we had a very nice hotel as well! haha!

Slept at 1.30am! Phew!! Thank God, we (Girls) dont need to wake up early in the morning to help do the setup!! haha! While the poor guys, got to do the set up starting at 930am!! muahahha!! (Evil laughs!!)

Friday: 1st day of the EMERGE RISING CONFERENCE!
But the saddest thing is that right on the first day, i fell SICK! I was down with fever and a very bad headache, couldn't stand, sit or even lie!!

Went back to the hotel halfway through the conference. and seriously, i was so badly wanted to hit the wall man! Anyway, Yeoyi came back to keep me accompany while i was sleeping though. And he got me food, but no appetite, he got to wake me up so many times, just to swallow the food!! ahaha! opps!

Rest till following morning, when Jeremy Choy called. hahA! that was at 9am though! opps! Was informed that we dont need to serve for the morning session!!! BUT!!! We need to do oscar!! So exciting!! Oh, and did i mentioned that we need to do the night before till 2am!! HAHA!! Not me though, the rest. Poor Tze Hua, who had to help me to count while i sleep!! And worse, that was when he just reached KL!! hahah!

Pst Kong share about being the Light of the City on the 2nd session, we went for Oscar and off we go to have our lunch! After 2hr, we were told to report for the night conference. So after brunch, we went to hotel and rest for a while before heading to the hall.

Went there and did zone, haha!! The way they named the zone is exactly same as us!! As usual, after service, we went to do Oscar, Pst also laid hands. so cool!! After Oscar, it was almost 11.45pm!! And guess what, we saw Caleb Treats and Sam at the lobby of our Hotel!! haha!! That means, he was staying in the same hotel as us!!! WOOHHOO!! So we grabbed that chance to take a picture with him!! He is TALL and very Muscular!! hhaha!! After that, we went to this prata shop and have our supper! My meal only cost me less then S$3!!! WoW!!! How amazing!! haha!! YEah!! After which, SLeeping time!!

Sun morning came, Pst Kong preached about being a kisser or Cleaver. ahah! This message is so familiar!! Yes, he preached about it a couple of weeks ago. Just before we go for oscar, we took a picture with Pst Kong!! Wohoo!! Haha!! And not to forget, Pastor, we are loyal to you!! haHA! It was so cool!!

Right after the session, went to do oscar, lunch also dont want, go and do some last min shopping!!! HAHA!! BUT!! I got nothing! Sigh! How sad!! Then went to report for duty, but the KL Team was so good to us, they actually gave us BREAK!! So that we can enjoy the service!! But then, we are to do oscar, so no diff la!! So having about 3 hours of break, all of us go for some more ShOPPING!! While Agnes and I went to do our nails!! haha!! Yes!! I did my manicure!! And it was sooo nice!! Erm!! (sorry, pics on FB) The manicure was FANTASTIC!!! It was the super 3D kind! hahah!! And it only cost me RM50!! Which is about S$23!!! OH MY!! How i wish this is the price i am paying in Singapore! haha!! But too bad!

That night, most of us kind of ton though cause we are leaving at 5am in the morning. All of us literally stoned our night though! haha! After which, Back home!!

Conclusion, it was quite a cool time we had! We made a few KL friends!! Hope to see them in Singapore next year during the AC2010!

It was so nice, talking about how the sister loved each other. So much that she (the younger one) willing to sacrifice her so call reputation for the sake to save her elder sis.. It was soooo touching!! Man!! i really feel like watching again!

Lin Zhu Ren or Jian Zhong Lao Shi, The way that we address him. Who always so polite and ke qi!! The one that always willing to do anything that we request!! One Awesome teacher!! Every holidays, he always blesses the admin personnel. He is ever nice and kind!! Even his kids also do like him!! Thanks for all the awesome jokes that you can crack!! ahaha!!

Mrs Yeo Kian Hoe (Senior Teacher Chinese)
Mei Mei Lao Shi!! The one who always need to dress up nice and presentable! haha! Lao Shi, you still owe me my Cantonese handbook!! haha!! Anyway, you also always so willing to teach us new chinese words and also CANTONESE!! I will miss the times that you call me 'Leng Loy'!! hahah!!

Some other awesome teachers are like, Nora (the super cute teacher!! Love her to be around!!), Mrs Jane Wong (her laughter simply contagious, and she really sooo nice!!!), Mdm Siti, Francisca, Wei Lee, Ms Tan Siew Choo and Wan Qiu and many more. These are really the teachers who make school a better place!!

And also EAS, Ting and Pam. You 2 are great!! Though we always plan the so call next steps and complaint and bla bla bla!! haha!! The both of you really make life so much more fun!! i am sooooo gonna miss you all!! Pam, my lunch kaki, Ting, my everything kaki!! hahah!!

I had a new REVELATION!! hahah!!

Now SMRT Cab can use Ez link card to pay WITHOUT additional surcharge!!! How nice is this!!! haaha!!

All these while, i love Comfort Cab cos they got this service, paying by Nets! But the bad thing here is i need to pay 30cent more each time i use!! Arghhhh!!! I think i waste almost 1 cab ride (from Woodlands to Expo) worth of money on the surcharge liao!! Sigh!!

But!!! God is GOOD!! Now, i can use SMRT cab and use EZ link card to pay without surcharge!!!

Wow!! I now found my new love for cab!! haha!! SMRT cab! But i still must say, i still dislike SMRT BUS SERVICES!!!!!!!! They simply CMI!!!!!!

Just came back from expo. Man, its a fruitful day!! ahah

Went for CG in the afternoon, and i really love N450!! They are always so cool and getting so much new info! Above and beyond, they are really the best members any one would desire!!

Sadly, i got to leave after a while to meet the rest for the accounts meeting in Expo. But on the bright side, all these treasurers are also the best bunch of people you ever want to work with! Always so willing and sacrificing!!
Everything that they do are so much more harder and tougher then anyone else is doing, yet without complaint!! They are serving God and His people!!

Anyway, attended service, went Bedok 85 with Aaron, Bernard, Sean Cheang, Agnes Ting and also Alex Yiu!

HaD a good time fellowshipping together!! They are always so fun to hang out with!! ahha!!

Not to forget, my beloved yeoyi, did something so amazing!! A few weeks ago, i just commented that i want to try the KoKo Kruch ice creAm that Mac is offering. So while sending the guys back, the moment we passed by 1 mac, he will stop the car, get down and ask!! this happens not because i want to eat alot!! But all the Mac no longer selling!!

And all in all, we went to almost 4 macs just to check if they are still selling. haha!! So nice!! But i think God just doesnt want me to eat such unhealthy food at the ungodly hours!! haha!! So in the end, we didnt manage to get any!!

But, still. I want to thank God for putting great people in my life! My members, my great friends and not to forget, Yeoyi, who always go that extra mile for me!!

Last sun, pastor had an awesome message!!

Pastor shared on the story of Job. Having done all, and yet still loving God and fear Him! And that how he overcome it without blaming God! I was amazed!

And the best thing on earth is that. Everything that bad thing that happens to us, the satan needs the permission from God!

And God allows it to happen, its always for the better. He wants to mould us and strengthen our faith in Him!

When we dont see His hands, we need to trust His heart! God loves us no matter what have became of us! Indeed, Having done all, perseverance.

Wow!!

Was just talking to Eugene yesterday, man, i am caught at such a situation where i dont know what to do and considered walking away.

Like what Eugene said, having done all...

Had a revelation during the OPM last week, as we were worshipping, i told God, man, the feeling is so great to able to stand and worship Him without anything on my mind. (But partly because it suppose to be sleeping time, so the brain already more or less gone)

God then reminded me that how ordinary i am. But with the ordinary'ness', He used me and promoted me to where i am today. And stripping off every thing, i am just NATALIE. A ORDINARY person that He created.

I indeed stand amazed! How awesome is this!

ET Zone 2nd OPM of the year!

Just woke up from my beauty sleep after last night OPM.

Man!! The prayer meet was AWESOME!

I got that touch from heaven and i also got a revelation! I was blown away at how God works!

We first had our combined cg, man, ET zone is really growing!! We used 3 rooms for combined cg!!

Cg was indeed exciting! Then had a short break followed by the opm.

During the first part, it was not easy to keep awake. I could feel my body getting tired. But when i get through that moment! Man! It was simply awesome!

After we came back for the second session, Bro Ed shared a short word and then there was massive laying of hands! The power of God just fall, and man!! People start falling under the power of God!

Indeed one day in the house of God is better then a thousand days in the world!!

Looking forward for the weekend svc!

Pretty relax when i was away. But of cos there are a few people called and things like that.

Haiyat was where i went. Seriously, there got nothing to shop!! Worst, nothing to see. Anyway, conquered another part of the world. Though i do not want to go again, but its still an eye opening for me.

Lots of problems waiting for me to entertain. And i dont like. There are times that i thought i could hold it no more. On the verge of breaking down, Stressed, very stressed.

But Then again i am reminded of this verse.

2 Corinthians 4:8-9
We are hard pressed on every side, yet not crushed; we are perplexed, but not in despair; persecuted, but not forsaken; struck down, but not destroyed.

This was the only verse that i could think of and encourage myself and push myself to go further.

I can do it and with God ALL things are possible!!

WHO WANTS TO BE A NINJA WARRIOR!!

This was the game that we played!!

Oh gosh, i was sooooo amazed! haha!

We have it on a sunday afternoon right after service at pasir Ris park!! (Ohhh!! It was my first time there!!)

The park was soooo nice!! (and BIG as well)

We started the game, having to find the station using the clue given to us. Me = first time there.

I dont know where to go!! BUT! Thank God for great team members who helped to look for the place! And within 10 mins we found our 1st station! (That sounds a bit long right!) haha!

IT was Xiao Shi's Station, the dog and bone station, oh, i cannot believe it! The whole milk looks sooooo milky! Not knowing what was inside the pile!! Anyway, this was jus the first station!

Then we went to the second station, once again, not knowing the place well, thank God for great member! Esp Bryan, who went to search for the map and even took a pic of it! And then acted as our 'GPS' guiding us to the station using the fastest route!

So now, 2nd station, we were at Bernices' station!! Oh, we had Spelling Bee!! haha!! This fun!!

My team Won!! Team 4 = smartest team!!

Then we went off to the 3rd station which was Darren's station!

Oh, i cant believe what i had done in that station!!

We were suppose to run into every single pail and jump in then whoever gets to the last station suppose to answer the qn, its multiple choices and we have to take the answer from the tray of WORMS with it!!! ARGHHH!!!

So smart and brave of me!! Ran and JUMP RIGHT Into THE WORMS!!!!! ROAR!!!

I cant believe it!!!!!!!!!

And when the game masters scream and (i scream too) ask me to get out, i was like, huh? Get out for what?!

haha!! Lo and behold!! I had a great treatment for my leg man!! haha!!

Alright, then i dont know what was the next station le, cos i went off!! Roar!!

See, how brave and smart i was man!! sigh!!

Anyway, i had great fun!! And of cos because of the great members that were in my team who were so supportive, that makes the game fun!! Of cos not to forget their sportyness!!

Today is one of my busiest day at work..

Alot of things happened. Things didnt turn out well. things go wrong then. So i am so so challenged!

haha!

Sigh, yet on the other hand, i realise that human are really not perfect at all. Same goes for me.

I was just thinking to myself that i can do so much. I can only stretch that far. I can only be at 1 place at 1 time.

Yet sometimes, people expectations are really far beyond what we can do..

I mean, these few days, so much things to do. So many emails to reply. So many phone calls. So many things!!! Work is indeed never ending. But what can we do to overcome?

What can do to not be crushed, the only conclusion that i got, i jus need to pray even more.

This morning as i make my way to school, i was still telling God to make my day a good day. And so much things happened. Then i thought to myself, is this day still good?

I heard the Holy Spirit. God make things go wrong so that you can still see His goodness.

And i think no matter how bad the situation, how tough the going gets, God never make the ending bad.

And partly my fault, cos i prayed for a good day, but i did not pray for a GOOD START of the day!! haha!!! See!! God can be quite cheeky at times man.. GOodness! I really love my God alot! haha!

Anyway, i am believing that the rest of the day is gonna be good!

Teachers' Day!

Teachers' Day dinner jus ended! It was hmmmz... Not bad! haha!

Since secondary school days, everytime when i overheard the teachers saying that they are going for the teachers' day lunch/dinner, i always wonder. What do they do during the lunch/dinner.

Do they jus eat?

Do they have games and things like that?

OR Do they event conduct courses and things like that.

HahA! Finally! The truth is reveal!!

The teachers do have a great time together.

Just simply having FUN! Afterall teachers are also HUMAN.

Haha! All in all, we all had fun!!

Alright, I am on 2 days MC!!!

And this is due to my ear inflammation!!

I am like DEAF on my right ear!

I cant hear much, when i talk, i hear myself. this is super irritating! And trust me, you wont like that kind of feeling!!

Last night, i tried to talk to Eugene on the phone, using right ear. I hear him so softly!!
Then Yeoyi tried talking to me, i cant hear him as well!!

He literally got to raise his voice abit and then i can hear! Sigh!!

So if you want to heal the deaf (for this 2 days) do look for me! haah!!

Today is another busy day at work... It was not the usual work, no kids no lessons, but the admin office, the HODs the whole general office is like a war zone.

Everyone is preparing for the exteral validators to come next week. Auditing the school, in one way or another.

It was good cos it helps the school to improve. Its bad cos all the staff are soooo stressed out! haha!!

Anyway, time check: its 515pm! And i am still in office, not because i got nothing to do, dont want to go home, my work place is super messy!! Using the VP room for work for this week, and i also somehow make it looks like a battle field!! haah! To also join in the war outside!! haha

Anyway, just here typing, rambling abit.. Super tired, eyes pain!!

I was like.... Hmmz.... Long lost dream.

Nat: Thought before.

Then it jus stucked me.

HAve I consider to be a CGL?
I always remember when i was sec 3, when i was in Amber's CG; W320.

It was one of the most exciting period in my life, rising up in CG, doing so much and seeing the CG grow.. It was really fun! Not to forget the times where we cried out to God together during our discipleship classes..

It was really mind-blowing.

Today, i am once again given the opportunity to rise up and do so much within the CG.

Do visitations, give Bible study and much more. I am loving what i am doing.

But on the other hand, i also enjoyed my ministry alot.

I love my ushers, who sticked through with me.. The duties, the laying of chairs, standing outside doing external traffic, running up and down.

Doing bulletins, oscar, admin and much more..

It was also a period where God really stretched my capacity ALOT! More then just that, He also tested my faithfulness, my faith and even PATIENCE!! Oh man!

Haha! But it was also through those times, i realise that i cant do much without God. Indeed without God, i am nothing. Apart from Him, i also can DO nothing.

Now, standing at this crossroad once again, i love both my ministries, believing one day, i can serve God full time.

But now, i need to pray and seek God even more, where does He wants me to go?

Indeed, not my will but YOURS!

The earthly parents are 'tasked' to deliver her into this world. So if the 'deliverer' felt so much, God wouldnt bear to see this little girl in pain as well..

Like the bible says: If the Earthly father will provide for the son, whats more the Heavenly Father. How could He not pour blessings into the son's life.

So in conclusion, i really Love my Heavenly Father so much!

CHC 20th anniversary

Jus had our 20th anniversary yesterday at Singapore Indoor Stadium! It was really awesome and mind blowing!

Looking at the testimonies, the videos, the people... It was really amazing!! To think back, i have almost be in this church for 10 years. The Old Hollywood days, the JW days, the Expo days. Its all really different..

I will always remember the days in Hollywood where we go early and queue for the service.

Squeezing our way in. To 'chop' the best seats in front. I also remember the balcony in Hollywood, when we jump during praise, we can feel as though we are having earthquake! aha! I will also remember how interesting, we often having blackouts!!

Esp during the Praise and worship!! But the best thing of all, is when all the people are still singing, dancing, lifting their hands in the dark!! Nothing stops us from praising and worshipping that One and Only Almighty God!

During JW days, we paid it all Cash! And had this building Debt Free!

Went down during the week days to help cleaning the building. Lay the chairs and not forgetting the trials that we went though during that season.. So much happened when we first moved in. But God is good! He see us through and bring us to greater heights!!!

Now in Expo, we are growing and we need a bigger hall!

But looking back, its not the halls or the seats that make us grow.

But it was the great friendships, the great people around, of cos the most important Pst Kong who step out and build this church. And most importantly God who bring us to where we are today! Otherwise we are jus a bunch of youth doing ordinary things.. Not knowing where are destiny and purpose!!

I cant thank God enough to be able to be attending City Harvest Church!! I cant thank God enough for Pst Kong who loves the church so much, always giving his best for us!! Lastly, i cant thank God enough for His faithfulness that was upon us when we are faithful-less.

Truly, God is all that we need!!

Indeed Dreams are Realized, Success is celebrated!

FOP & CHC 20th Anniversary

Opps.. I have not been updating my blog recently..

Busy and tired. But its all good!

Jus had my 5th lesson of my guitar class and it was really good!! We learn alot of new things, and i can play more songs now!!! Wohoo~~

Anyway, FOP is coming and the next best thing is that we, City HArvest Church is celebrating our 20th Anniversary!!!

Can you believe that the church is the same age as me!! And its a few months older than me!! haha! And i think that its such an honor!!!

Hmmz.. I cant wait to go for the thanksgiving service.
Thank God for the great years before and the wonderful years to come!!

Anyway, I shall update again then!!

Dr A R Bernard (LEader's Meeting)

Went for the Leader's meeting yesterday in Jurong Church.

We had a special guest. Its none other then Dr A R Bernard!! Man, i tell you, the message that he preached!! WAs seriously amazing!! A word indeed in season!!

He preached about leadership, how do we be leaders that people will look up to and respect. Simply jus like how we respect Pst K.

Anyway, i also realise from the message that sometimes we as leaders also do have our weary days and season. But as long as we keep ourselves right with God, always feeding on new revelations and be in a prayerful condition, God will renew us and revive that passion..

There are more then jus that, of cos. But i was really blown away as recently i began to feel a little stretch.. A little weary, a little hopeless..

But as a leader, we should always complete our task with purpose. No more completing because i am tasked to do or because there is a need for it to be done. But rather, because we want to do it and do it well!

In order to be in the same page with the church leadership, we need to be WILLING!! haha!! PSt Tan was sharing a little of it.. In my heart, i was really very touched!

Wohoo!! hhaha!

And i was so touched and impacted by the message!! I want to be a better leader!

Not bad ar!! A little meat for all.. haha!!

Hmmz.... I am seriously looking forward to go for Sat and Sun service, cos i know, Dr A R Bernard is gonna have even more great word for us!!

Decentralize Service

Sunday was our FIRST EVER DECENTRALIZE service!!! *Wohooo* *Screams* *Waves*

hahah!! Man, it was really cool!! We run our own service!! Like what Jerb said, we are learning to take the ownership of the hall!

And the best thing, was that our very own Bro Edmund Tay preaching!! And he had a great word!!

Preaching on the faith that the Bible heros have... Inspired us to have that kind of faith!! Though i didnt get to see how Bro Edmund preached, but i know he must have done it well!! (I was behind at logistics)

And it after service or rather, after duty, went for dinner with Aaron, Agnes, Yong Wei, Tze Hua and bernard.

Sometimes its good to be able to be able to just sit down and fellowship with them...

Anyway, its good to have such service once in a while!!

This whole June was a nice one for me! haha.. Work was rather relax cos no students BUT it was quite busy, due to that H1N1!! (Oh my, how contridicting can i get) Oh my gosh!! This flu is jus so irritating!!

Anyway, last week celebrated Yy's Birthday, went for sky dinning. Man, it was COOL!! To have your dinner up in the sky, (dont know how many feets up). It was jus sooooo fun!!

Too bad, no pics, so 'blessed' to have the camera went out of batt!!

Today is just another busy day, finally got a chance to sit in front of lappy!! And so i decided to blog first!! haha!

Anyway, as i was talking to Zhi Hwa, having to cope with so much things in life is really not easy.. And it was real tough.. Esp having to cope the down times..

But i just cant thank God enough for being a youth.. Exposed to so much things in life. So much things in ministry and His Kingdom..

The fun that i have, the joy and laughters. The tough times, the disappointments and the many many more.

But it surely make me grow so much in Him. Grow so much in life. Making me a better person!!

And thanks for me being a YOUTH!!

A Busy Sunday

Sunday was indeed an eventful day!!

It was the second week of the Jun Hols!! hahah!! So as a subzone, we went to Bedok for KTV outreach. I went there late! Man, i am impressed by my beloved CG!! They are so cool!! And they all can sing and dance for sure!

Esp that Torance!! Man, i should have taken pictures! haha!! WE had a good time together!! After the KTV, I went to Alan's New house!! Man!! I really LOVE the house! ITs sooooo cool, huge and nice!! I love the concept man! hhaha

Yea, and thanks to my beloved gals, we were there going crazy.. Singing KTV for almost 2 hours!! Hogging the mike and the TV screen!! haha!! Fun Fun!! They are indeed my beloved!! hahah

Oh, and my beloved are Tan Liting and Agnes Ting Pei Shan!! hahah!!

OH, after that, we walk to the beach! It was crazy! We were walking in the dark and ya, it was simply crazy!! But, good time of quality time!! Then after walking for a while, we LOST our way!! hhaha! I mean wohoo!! But we had the peace of the Holy Spirit! And after walking for like 15mins, or more, we then realise that we TOOK a wrong route!! Walking 1 BIG round before getting to Alan's place again!! That was really insane!! haha

EG outing

Went out with EG last week.

We went to the new shopping centre at Bugis. A good time of Fellowshipping. Went to eat at one of restaurant. Named : Empire State. Something like that. Very much like New Yoke new yoke. A nice place to eat in!

Took quite a bit of pics. But i dont know where is it. hahah.

And not to forget, we celebrated Rach and Gordon's Birthday! Happy Birthday to the both of you!! May the both of you enjoy the days to come!

Haha! And after which, we went back.. Saw so many ppl that were all once an usher. Saw so many friendships still going strong!! I am impressed and amazed!

Doc review with team outing!

Yesterday was anther eventful day!

Went back to the 'sinseh' for my poor ankle... Oh my gosh!! I thought i was the one that tortured my ankle! But lo and behold!! The Doc was crazy!! She 'tui' my ankle and i felt my ankle was super badly bruised!! I cant believe it!!
It was faint! No words to comment! The best thing was, she said i too 'xiao jie'!! hahha!! Ermmm.. Hmmz... I pray that i will never need to go back to a 'Sinseh' AGAIN! *Phew*

Then after the review, she commented that i am recovering well! So thank God!! Esp those who smsed me! Even Bea also Tweeted me!! I was really very touched! Haha! Alright, this sat is the last review that i need to go back.. So please pray that no more torture for me!! And so far 2 visits already cost me $109!! Oh faint! haha

Anyway, after my visit to the doc, i went to meet my teams! I really love them lots! Thanks for making that great effort to come down and fellowship! It was a good time together! You guys rocks! I hope and pray that they will be more bonded together and will want to fellowship with each other more often!!

Man! Last weekend is such a 'fun' one man!

Fri was the Song Of Solomon BS. Man!! It was really very good!! I mean Pst had such a powerful message and it was something that we dont hear it for a long time! And Man, when we were worshipping, we were blown away! I mean, tear jus start to drop and wooo.. hhaha!! So exciting!

And after the sports meet in school, my ankle is super swollen!! Cos of veins infection! And now, its like a 'Zhu Jiao'!!

Sighh.. Back to Zhu Jiao Days again.
And its like i have the need to wrap my leg once a year kind. Sigh.

Sports Meet 2009

Just ended the Sports Meet of Pei Hwa Presbyterian Pri Sch!!

Was it Fun? It was fun when the people around you are having fun! haah!

Yes, we had lots of fun! Was there helping out to sell drinks! (DUH!!) The weather was HOT! And we were also burned!

But Thank God we had good weather! So that we can complete the games and etc...

And if you asked me, whats so special about the meet? I tell you, the opening ceremony of the Meets was AWESOME!

It had the feeling of Olympic! Though we didnt had a real torch but the 'torch' was very creative! And the lighting of torch was really wohoo!! hahha! Though i dont like to 'pao tou luo mian' but it was fun!

Alright, i regret not bringing camera and thus no pics! Sigh!

BLTC Lesson 6

BLTC course have just finally ended!! The 6 long weeks and the the short 2 hours that we have.
Sounds contradicting hor?

Haha.. Yea, Its really fun though every lesson is after duty and we are really drained physically. But this 6 weeks that we have is really mind blowing and life transforming. Of cos, Thank God that i am allowed to go. Even though i am no longer a helper or a newly promoted Team Leader. *phew*

The last lesson was extremely *touching* as we experience something that was really very humble.

Bea was the last trainer for lesson 6. She taught us how do we carry ourselves as leaders and leading people differently. And she uses the acronym of LEADER to teach us, how can we be a good leader.

And i seriously think that its not easy being a leader without God. Even sometimes with God, we find it hard to lead, whats more without God and the Holy Spirit. Many times we set so high our expectations for people, for our sheep and for ourselves. But we forgotten that God is the overall in control. And the end result was disappointments and anger. So this BLTC taught me how to trust more in the Lord that we need to trust in Him and indeed He who lives in us is greater than He (Satan) who's in the world!

And the last thing of the lesson was something that nobody will expect.. The trainers aka SLs of the ministry WASHED the feet for all of us.

MaN!! I was shocked!! When Beatrice announced and said that she will wash the feet for the SLs first. WOW! We were BLOWN away!

The moment when she started to wash the first person's feet. The presence of God was poured down like rain. Everyone in the room was totally touched and refresh in the Presence of God!

When the SL's washed our feet and encourages us, our tears were flowing like tap water! I was super convicted! That the purpose of our ministry is to serve!! The servant hood of the leaders was really impacting!!

And when the leaders laid hand on us, we were all woooo... No words to describe!

Man!! Thank God for giving both Bea and Jeff the idea to start this training course! Thank God for giving me the chance to go for this course! Thank God for always making Himself so real in every single lesson! Even though it was really very crucifying of flesh! To go after duty. It was really arghhhh...

But still i thank God that He make it so fantastic!!

This course really have benefitted me alot! And i just cant thank God enough for the opportunity!

SZ's farewell BBQ

Cracking our brains not sure what to do, we decided to go for a BBQ outing! Wohoo!! And it was so fun!!

The Past

Just had a very simple conversation with aAaron!! Yes, none other than Aaron Low Zu Fan!! Talking to him have Brought me back alot, yes, i mean ALOT ALOT of memories. The time when i first knew him and Adam. The time when i remember that they dont know how to take train to church, even though they were staying in Dover! OH MY GOSH! I mean when i was first told, i was like!!! HUH! How big can Singapore be! Haha! Opps!! *Boys, forgive me*

But now, Come to think of it, time have passed so fast!!
*indeed time flies*

It has been almost 4 years since he left for Canada and UK. And Adam has been away for almost 2 years. And they are like my first few members that i know them. Its almost 9 years since i know them.. WOW! That's long man!! And i really Thank God for them! They make me grow!

I will always remember, Aaron, you are like my 'chu qi tong'. Always so willing to let me vent my anger on you, or rather allow me to have verbal diarrhea on you. haha! (ALright, i repent of that) And Adam, you are always our 'Xiao Ya Dan'.

But now, we are all leading different lives. Doing different thing, but the only thing that still keep all of us together is the friendship that we all shared, and of Cos, God the one.

I really miss those good old times. The times we all just enjoy the fellowship with one another. The time when we all come together and pray. Its all seems like yesterday. I was just reading the post that Aaron first type after he reached canada.

I still remember, someone was telling me that every post he typed, really made us tear. And true. We really tear when we first read the post. But that was the first few months. hahah..

And now, he is coming back!! In the month of July!! I am soooo looking forward to see Both of them!! Wohoo!

BLTC

Went for BLTC last second lesson yesterday. The lesson was good! I mean the Presence of God was simply whooo.. And it really refreshes many of us!

I remember that Jeff mentioned something like this.

We all have come too far to give up on God now. We gave so much of our life, time, effort and also our 'precious' (if you know what i am referring to). Its too 'Bo Hua'. This are just some of the physical life that we care.

But really, what about our emotion life. We gave so much of our 3 most important things in life, faith, hope and love. We all had too much to lose. If we were to leave the Kingdom of God one day, seriously i dont know what is there to hope for. As Christians, God gave us so much hope and 'life'. The fun time we had together! Haha! Yeah!

ANyway, It was a good time of renewing and refreshing in the Spirit!! Wohoo!! I am so looking forward to the next lesson!! Oh!! The last lesson!! Haha!!

FIRST mission trip of the year

Clearing of BF

Oh man! I thank God for that great faith man! haha
I'm so HAPPY!!! Cos i have cleared my BF!!! Though the amount was not small! Seriously it was arghhhh when i gave that amount! Thank God for that great faith!

I mean i was comtemplating should i just not fulfil my BF for this time? (Looks like satan tempting me to break my vow, sighh)
I was thinking, maybe i was too unrealistic to give that amount. Maybe what i gave over the past few months was enough. All these thoughts came into my mind, and i was really very much want to give in to these thoughts.

But Holy Spirit reminded me the words that Dr. John Avanzini preached a couple of weeks ago, his exact words was " We can owe the bank money, but we should not owe the church money" I was so convicted in my Spirit and in my own interpretation, we should not break our vows in giving especially in building God's house, so yesterday, i plucked that courage and went to give! Seriously, i felt that the heavy stone in my heart was released! Though in some ways i am in debt.

There are so many other things waiting for me to pay. But the moment when i choose to put my Daddy God first, all things should be added unto me according to His riches in Christ Jesus! And i really claimed that!! AHaha! So despite of the mountains of debts that is in front of me, i know God will cast it into the sea for me! With that little faith of mine! I shall be prosperous!! Not juse me, people around me, SHALL BE PROSPEROUS!! AMEN!! hahaha!! Wohoo!! Nat is a happy girl now!!!

Thank you Daddy God! I love you lots!

Bangkok Trip!!

I'm Back from my BAngkok trip!! Wohoo!! I enjoyed the shopping though i did not get alot of things there! Arghhh! And i ONLY got 7 pairs of shoes there, BUT i am so so so proud of myself for that!

Alright shall start where and what did we do on the first day! I cant believe it! I did not sleep the whole night jus to make sure that i dont miss my flight the next morning! And it was my time taking MORNING flight!! 630am flight! Wohoo!! That means to say i need to be at airport at 430am! And yes, i was at airport at 430 am!! Ahaha! Thank God! I manage to get a tiny bit of sleep during the flight there. Phew!

The moment we reach airport, seriously i dont quite like the speed of the people there working. They are so the no comments. Anyway, the plane arrives early, at like 730am BUT we only check out of the airport, it was 1 hr later! How fast was that man! Sigh!!

And the worse thing was that we COULD not find the agent who was suppose to pick us up at the airport! Roar! I cant believe that man!

Anyway, there was a massive traffic jam from the airport to the hotel! Reason being was that there are simply too many cars on the road! Sigh! And we took another 1 hr to get to the hotel! Oh my gosh! By the time we check in at the hotel, it was already 1030am! How fast! haha! then by 11! We were all ready to go for our shopping spree!!

First we went for the ocean world! It was so cool!! The sea creatures there were never seen in Singapore!! And we were so fancinated by it man! haha! Yes! We were stuck for almost 2 hrs! Some pics for your pleasure!

Alright, after the ocean world! Here we come, Shopping! Wohoo!! Went straight to MBK!! Were there shopping!! Haha! Yes, great harvest there! Shop till night, then went for dinner. Some how we all just decided to end the day early at 9pm, went back to the hotel and rest! I guess that day were were all too tired and slept early that night! Only both poor Tze Hua and aaron trying to finish up some work. haha

Next morning, we went to the famous Platinum mall!! Oh my gosh! You wouldnt want to step in there! Cos the moment you step in, you wont want to come out! And you will come out with a HUGE burned in the pockets! ahah!

We got so much nice things there! And we just need to get the shopping therapy started! So we started to buy things!

And we only manage to conquer 2 levels in 3 and a half hours! I cant believe it! That was long!! Lunch and then back to the mall!!
Sad to say, that mall closes early! They close at 8pm!! So we went to have a quick dinner and back hotel!! Haha!!

The guys then went out again, to check out some places. While the rest of us (girls) Stayed in the hotel and SLEEP!! Need to restore back the lost of energy during the shopping therapy! haha..

Then came third day, we wanted to go to the weekend market. Cos somebody told us that they open from 7am - 6pm! And so we went!! And they were not open at all! Arghh! So we make a turn back to Pratunam!!

There are a few malls there! And the worse thing was that it was MAy DAY!!! Most of the stalls close early! How disgusting! Sigh! So our dear JEan was afterall not done with her shopping at platinum mall. So again, back to platinum mall.. Hmmz.. Some of us were so tired that we decided to go back to the hotel early. LEaving some behind at mall..

And at night, YY and i went to get dinner from Chinatown for the rest. How fun! While the rest of them were in the hotel playing this fun game called BRIDGE! Oh faint!!

And at the same time, when we were in Chinatown, we went to get some local product. We ordered so much that we required DELIVERY!! Thank God! They provide free delivery to the hotel! And on top of that! They gave us a 10 percent discount! Wohoo!! God is good! haha! Yes! And that night, we slept late!! The guys were playing BRIDGE! How sick! While the girls pack!! Only Poor Agnes, doing her Homework! haha! Opps!

Last day of the trip! I dont know if i were starting to miss the 'life' i was leading in Bangkok, the shopping like nobody biz life or coming back home and be well energise. AFterall, i need to come back. So last day, we went to the weekend market!! It was HUGE!! haha! So many stalls!! But not alot caught my attention. Sadded!! Shop for 2 hrs and back to this Huge mall that somehow we cant finish shopping.

The platinum mall!! hahah! There we had lunch and something happened that we need to go back hotel early and settle! Alright! Then off to airport we go and on board to singapore!! We all came back with lots of items in our luggage! Ahaha!Hearts filled, pockets empty!! haha

Anyway, i really had great time in Bangkok and the fellowship.. The laughers that we shared. The good times, and the not so good times. All are learning experiences for me! Given a choice to go with them again, yes i will!!

Opps, had i not mention who were with me!? haha.. Thats a secret!!hahaha!

Sunday was a power pack day! haha! Everyday seems to be power pack! Faint!
Anyway, after duty, i went for a zone event. We had games and fellowship. With friends and cg! It was a good time!

After the fellowship, i went for the BLTC (Basic Leadership Training Course) led by Jeff and his group of leaders. The course was fantastic!! The revelations and insights that Jeff shared! It was mind blowing man! Especially when he shared about the A class serving!! There are a total of 3 As!

1) Availability
2) Accountable
3) Attitude

And the best i love was the third 'A'.
There are a few Attitude. One of the attitude in Serving is Attitude of JOY.

JOY stands for

J = Jesus
O = Others
Y = You

In the attitude of Joy, we need to know who are we serving and why are we serving them. And from it, what joy can we get from it.
Man, i really love it!

And of cos not to forget, the time spent with God worshipping. It was a good time! The Presence of God was so strong, and God seems so real! He came and renewed our passion that we once have for serving. As we grow older, sometimes we tend to forget and neglect that passion we once had. Seriously it was good! Thank God for the great sharing!!
